Settings

The Setup group of the sidebar holds Environments (see Environments), Access, Runtime and About. These pages always show the default environment: API keys, runtime settings and email are install-wide.

Access

  • API Key (Basic and Standard) — the environment's API key for trigger and webhook URLs, with Generate New Key. On Enterprise the key lives in each environment's edit dialog instead.
  • Cloud Connector external IP — the outbound IP(s) Cloud Connector uses, each with a copy button, and an Azure SQL whitelist script to run on the target database. Without a NAT Gateway the page warns that the IP may change.
  • User assignment in Microsoft Entra ID — the Cloud Connector (client) ID, when its client secret expires, the Managed identity (client) ID used for Microsoft 365 mail, whether Assignment required is on, and a link to Users & groups in Entra.
  • Data API (Business Plus) — the Cloud Connector Data — Application (client) ID that switches the Data API on, locked once saved with Edit and Turn off, and a fold-out that walks through the app registration and offers Copy Power Query template. See Data access and the Data API.

Runtime

Each field has its own Save.

  • Default max parallel — Refresh Source Data and Before / after refresh data (default 5 each): the number of items an activity runs in parallel when it sets no cap of its own. The value is copied into a job when the job is saved, so a changed default reaches a job the next time that job is saved.
  • Timezone — used to interpret the times you pick in schedules. Save it explicitly; until then the service uses UTC. A schedule keeps the zone in force when it was saved.
  • Long-running job warning — Warn after (minutes), default 120, 0 switches it off. Emails the recipients when a job has run this long; the job is not stopped.
  • On-prem job stall limit — Minutes without progress, default 30. A Gateway job that reports no progress for this long is failed.
  • On-prem delete check — Hours between checks, default 24; 0 checks after every sync. How often an on-prem table loaded incrementally is checked for rows deleted at the source. The check reads every key of the table, so large tables are better checked daily.
  • Deleted-record retention — Retention (days), default 90, 0 keeps forever. A daily job permanently removes records that have been marked deleted for this long.
  • Templates — Show beta templates reads the marketplace's beta channel; see Templates.
  • Email for notifications — the transport, see Email for notifications.
  • Failure notification recipients — the global list, see Where notifications are set up.
